KENNY SCHACHTER collects, curates, makes and writes about art. He has been curating contemporary art exhibits in museums and galleries for in excess of 20 years and has taught art history at New York University, The New School for Social Research, and Columbia University. He has lectured internationally, been the recipient of a Rockefeller supported grant, written portions of books published by Springer Wien New York (2006, with Vito Acconci, edited by Cristina Bechtler) and MIT Press (2009, on Paul Thek, edited by Harald Falckenberg), and been profiled in The New York Times Magazine, and London’s Observer, Independent and Telegraph. Received planning permission to erect Zaha Hadid’s first building in England, situated on Hoxton Square. Kenny deals in international art from impressionism and modernism to the art and design of today. In addition, Kenny Schachter has exhibited his artworks internationally including one-person exhibits at Sandra Gering Gallery in NYC and International 3 in Manchester. FREE SCHOOL OF is a reflective, free-source educational platform celebrating conversation over any other form of knowledge. With the aim to challenge dogmas and explore contradictions, FSO is inconclusive and uncertain. At the heart of this school lies the curiosity about creative processes, boundaries between creative disciplines, and how established hierarchies between emerging and established voices can transform into platforms for learning. MARKO MILOVANOVIC is an architect, artist, journalist, and a committed educator. He is the founder of the knowledge and space production practice MYLOMARK and the educational conversational platform FREE SCHOOL OF.
